Meadowsweet is also called six-petal meadowsweet. It can be found in meadows and open areas. It also grows near rivers. This plant grows in places with mild weather. In our country, meadowsweet grows a lot in the European part.

Meadowsweet leaves are cut into many parts. The stems have bunches of white or light pink flowers. These flowers bloom in June and July. The plant's fruits are hairy and look like nuts.



Meadowsweet stems grow from 100 to 170 cm tall. The plant has big leaves that are dark green with yellow spots. These leaves have a nice smell. The flowering stems grow close together. The plant's white or beige flowers smell like honey. They have 5 petals each. The big, full flower bunches can grow up to 20 cm long.

Gardeners know this bush looks great for about 3 weeks when it blooms. Then, it gets darker. Meadowsweet has other names like white grass and honey plant. People also call it wet raspberry and meadowsweet. Some popular types are Variegata, Aurea, Plena, Nana, and Magnifica.
