RE: Progress on my plant gifts

in #gardener6 years ago (edited)

When some people give gifts, it's always wise to immediately give something in return. That way they won't feel like you owe them something...

Yeah, I can understand this. I don't like feeling like I owe people things. My strategy is to out-do them... ;)

One of my projects is going to redecorate my study and my desk. I'll grab myself a succulent in dedication to you and an orchid in dedication to @actitfit-peter. I am just so picky when it comes to potted plants though. I haven't commented much, but I like your plant reminders...although, not as keen on the creepy crawlies...

Flowers are harder to come by at this time of year whereas the creepie-crawlies are abundant so sadly, that's what you get.
When getting a succulent, be sure to find one that prefers low-light conditions or it will not thrive. Many succulent need full sun but a few do manage with indoor lighting

tbh, I wanted a cute little aloe vera, I read somewhere it is a great detector of how unhealthy your environment is. When it goes sad and brown it means the indoor air is killing you.
