Garden set up is complete

Yesterday I mentioned about visiting the plant nursery, it was a tiring day so after bringing it home I could not do the planting immediately. And I did not want to haste up also so left it. Today morning my first activity was to plant all of them in the ground. My caretaker helped me with all of if. Though I enjoy doing these things all by myself but because of lack of expertise I need assistance and then there are some jobs which are a bit difficult for me like the digging part. First, we had to do all the cleaning of the garden area and then start planting them. The cleaning itself took some time as there were quite a lot of small shrubs and some wild grass which had grown.

In this area, I wanted to grow some veggies and fruits initially and the previous gardener had planted a sweet potato here, but that never happened, after 8 months also nothing happened and there were only creepers all throughout the garden, so finally I removed all of that and decided to make this a flower garden. It is at the entrance of my home so I guess it will look better with flowers here.

The first one is planted. I want some variety of colors here so this time I have bought all different colors.

We are on the job and hubby is on his job of taking pictures.

As of now it looks all empty still, but some of them will spread out and hence we have planned it that way.

My favorite one

I need to wait for couple of months to see the progress and I am only hoping that none of them get destroyed in the rains. This is the side which has some cover so it has some protection and does not get exposed to heavy rainfall on this side. So I am hoping they will grow well and my this area will start looking colorful in a few months time.
