Garden update 22 June 25
... enjoy the garden photos!
2 rows of peas in this shot, flowering like wild, and still adding more height every day.
Pea flowers are really just modified (whitened) leaves. You can see their green veins if you look closely.
The apple tree I planted 2 years ago. It was a tiny stick, then. Now it's a bigger stick! With some leaves half the year.
Uh oh, my tomatoes aren't doing well this year. The last frost was a couple weeks ago, and I planted them immediately after. But now we're in a heat wave... not good for little seedlings. I guess I need a greenhouse if I want to start tomatoes early enough to get them up to size before the heat arrives. Maybe next year.
That's my latest (a few hours ago) shot of the yard and garden. Looks kinda small from up here on the deck.
Here are the last several hundred daily photos, all in one:
Thanks for visiting my garden. I'm really enjoying walking through the grass, observing all the new growth and changes, smelling the blossoms, and feeling the natural energy. It's a great vibe and I'm pleased with how my work is starting to pay off. It's the best version since I moved here (3 years ago), and one of my best gardens EVER. I've been gardening since I was a little kid, so that's saying something.
Grow in peace.
