It is well done... don't get me wrong. I didn't play the original DOTA but I played Heroes of Newerth and had probably the worst initial game experience of my life there. When i found LoL, it was kind of like a sigh of relief. Not to say that game can't also be very toxic. I think my biggest qualm with DOTA 2 was how "zoomed in" it felt. It's a very pretty game in any case.
