I was always more of a Bloodlines fan myself. That and Simon's Quest. The rest I had trouble getting into till we start talking the GBA games at which point I ended my interest in Castlevania. I may need to revisit some of these older ones though - I am always a fan of 2D side scrolling action adventures.
if brother you are right, the 2D games are excellent, in my case I am fanatic of them, greeting.
