RE: Command and Conquer studio closes for good

in #gaminglast month

Now that I've talked a lot about this, I may mosey on over to Steam and pay a mere $20 for the entire remastered collection.

That would be money well spent in my opinion.

I bet there's a YouTube video which documents the rise (and fall) of Westwood studios.

My first real memory of their logo was with Dune 2 - seeing it for the first time at one of my brother's friends house, I had to play it! I loved that game and it's the one that I will always think of first.

Then of course, C&C - Red Alert and Tiberian Sun are the versions that first spring to mind.

Looking at their Wikipedia Page, "Eye of the Beholder" rings a bell but I very much doubt that I could tell you anything about it!

sorry for the late reply, your comment was buried under the usual mountain of spam. I LOVED Dune2 and it is the only game that I ever have any recollection of my father being interested in. That was the original RTS game and I was hooked from that point forward.
