RE: A new type of games review

in #gaming7 years ago

I think its an interesting thought especially since time is money. wealth is really the time and energy you spent to earn that money to then buy stuff.

the thing is tho, that games like fallout 4 were not merely reviewed by their value. The best reviews are the ones that focus on what it has to offer in terms of the overall experience. fallout 4 has a lot of bang for your buck but its also a solid game. A lot of times the amount of time your taking to play a game depends on the among of enjoyment your getting for that game.

The witcher for example is an excellent game, I personally don't like it, at all, but it is well made and it has a lot of content. The witcher is not reviewed well because it has so much content but because of what it has to offer. A game that is not on the same level like Mad Max (its good but does not have the level of depth of the witcher) can give someone like me more enjoyment even tho its more repetitive.

so the value for your time is different depending on what you enjoy

Of course as with all reviews, they are simply opinion!
