I agree, a game is not to blame. It is solely on the parent to make sure "addiction" does not happen. It's how the child reacts to (in this scenario, games) that's at fault too. It could be food, candy, watching shows on the tablet or TV. Worse thing is when a child is just following what the parent is doing, which is being glued to the phone at all times. People want to believe the fault lies in something else and not them. I too have been gaming since the early days, hogging the TV all day but you don't see me having an addiction haha.

Yup, nowadays the kids can picked up their parent's habit easily. It's not easy to control them especially when there are so much things that can expose them to gaming indirectly without them or their parent realize. Even in tv now there's a dedicated channel for e-sports. But I guess gamers like us have better mental strength back in the days hahaha
