Plot
You took a pill and now you turn yourself into a monster, being a huge ape, lizard or wolf and you are hungry. That's why you have to look for food inside of buildings, but beware because the military is on to you.
Graphics
Graphics are nothing special for an arcade game of it's pretty, you can say it is pretty middle of the road. They are colourful though and everything can be seen clearly. Items in the game are standard sprites for a video game. It does have some funny animations when you eat something and when you die so there is a plus.
Sounds
The game features no music, and since it is one of the things I always look forward too, it was kind of a disappointment, it doesn't even feature start screen music which is odd. In-game sound effects are good, but I feel it need a bit more sound effects or more funny ones, the sound effects mostly consist on things being launched and explosions that can be a bit annoying at times.
Gameplay
The game is kind of a beat 'em up in that you have to punch everything, but doesn't scroll instead every level consist on one screen and your goal is to find food in the buildings that replenish your health and destroy all the buildings on the screen to advance to the next "day". Your enemies are soldiers, choppers, tanks and police cars. Your enemies are going to shoot at you bullets and bombs to damage you, you have a life bar and when it empties you lose, you only get a life in every credit and there are 768 different levels, so it's basically infinite and you are playing for a high score. Once you lose there is a great animation when you turn back into a human and get naked to the side of the screen. The best thing about the game is that you can play with 2 other players cooperative which adds a lot of fun.
This is a fun little game that can net you hours of fun. There are many versions including one for the NES and sequels to so you have plenty of chance to get a hold of one copy if you like retro fun games pick this one up.
