The most important: The Game Awards announcements - Did not see this coming!

in #gaming7 years ago (edited)

For the gamer it was wonderful to wake up this morning. With the fried egg on my lap i read about the various large announcements that were made and now that the peace has returned i can calmly outline the surprises for you. These are The Game Awards announcements of 2017!

Death Stranding trailer

After a lot of fuss about the Silent Hill game, which was canceled for various reasons, Kojima Productions now comes with a new game in which Norman Reedus, known from The Walking Dead, will play the lead role.

It does not stop there, Mads Mikkelsen will also be in the game through motion capture, face scan and voice-over. During The Game Awards announcements we saw a second trailer of Death Stranding, which makes the game even more special than it already was. The trailer of the action game contains images that are not seen in daily life. We are looking forward to it anyway!

Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 postponed

Okay, when i read this, the big smile i got from the Death Stranding trailer quickly turned into a regretted face, because these two games, Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 , got a later release date than publisher Ubisoft originally planned used to be.

Far Cry 5 was scheduled to come out on February 27 next year and The Crew 2 would initially be in stores on March 16th. Now no longer, the reason: Ubisoft wants the games to be completely top and ready for play before they come out. Quality above all!

Metro Exodus trailer

It's been a while since Metro: Last Light came out and on the E3 of this year we were told that the new Metro game, Metro Exodus, will arrive in 2018. Now a few months later at The Game Awards we got some nice pictures of the game again!

Based on the bestseller Metro 2035 by Dmitry Glukhovsky, the story of Metro continues. The trailer shows the fantastic far-reaching world in which we again see a lot of survival horror elements in it. The wallet has to be added to the infusion again!

SoulCalibur 6 announced

That regretted face of the Far Cry 5 outplay and The Crew 2 will have received a slightly positive turn after reading the Metro Exodus trailer, but after hearing the SoulCalibur 6 announcement, the luck can not be up.

It has been six years since the last SoulCalibur came out and since then it has never been really silent around the game. During The Game Awards, Bandai Namco announced that SoulCalibur 6 will be available in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The publisher also came with a super-fat trailer that you can view below.

Bayonetta 3 Switch release announced

Yes, we did not see them at all. There is a third part of Bayonetta that can be played exclusively for people who own the Nintendo Switch. The game also has a trailer in the air that you can view below. There is no release date yet.

At the same time, Nintendo has also announced that Bayonetta 1 and 2 will come to the Switch. The release date of these two games is known. The games come in one edition and are available from 16 February.

The Game Awards announcements - What do you think?

So again a lot of things have been announced that we will look forward to again with great success. Which of all announcements did you like the most?

Thanks for reading.

Oh god I'm still trying to wrap my head around what the hell happened in that Death Stranding trailer! Also I definitely need to set aside some money for Bayonetta 1, 2, & 3 when they release!

well try
