The blossoming sector of cryptocurrency: A look into cryptogaming

When I had first discovered cryptocurrency I was blown away by the potential of the technology. And the opportunity I had as an investor to gain profits. Countless coins were researched, debating which one could be the next bitcoin.

In my pursuit to look for opportunity in this current market, I found a niche that has completely engulfed my interest for the past weeks. This niche has gone under the nose of many in the cryptocurrency community. And it promises profits for those who know.

Cryptogaming

There are many Dapps on the market, more than I can list. However I will showcase some games to highlight their differences and potential. Along with my personal recommendation. I’ll also be providing resources so that you may become a knowledgeable early adopter.

Games

• Cryptocelebrities is a trading card game where players buy and sell celebrities, simple enough. However it is getting a major update that introduces pool buying. It also plans to add a korean version of the site that will introduce Korean players.

• Ethertulips Is also a collectible game where you can buy Tulips. The catch is, you can battle with them . It tries to use its name to its advantage and is doing quite well. The Tulips also increase in price everyday to encourage scarcity and drive up value. At least, that's the plan.

• Etheremon While also being a trading game, it has successfully implemented a battle system. Players can train and fight their Etheremon to generate profits by storming castles.

• Ethercraft is quite unique in that it's no trading card game. Instead the developers plan to release a full fledged rpg that pays tribute to the old pixel rpgs of old. By doing quest and raiding dungeons, you may come across loot that you can sell or items that generate dividends.

• D.world Is one of the newer kids on the block but has blown up tremendously. It has the most in depth gameplay by having people buy plots of land that can be sold or left to generate dividends. Its further explained below.

My Recommendation
Dworld

Dworld is a unique game that has recently come out. It honestly has shown tremendous promise by having an active dev who is very much involved with the community, along with its solid gameplay that is both addictive and fun.

The core gameplay of the game consist of plots of land that can be bought and sold. There recently was an update that allows you to earn dividends on nearby plots of lands that are sold. This incentives people to turn metropolitan areas and the regions surrounding world wonders in to potential gold mines.

Dappradar is a comprehensive rankings website that tracks balance, volume, and transactions of major Dapps. Though the current list is a bit sparse, the devs plan to add more sites.

Stateofthedapps
Stateofthedapps is a comprehensive list of Dapp games in their varying states of production. These Dapps can range from concepts to live, playable games; with banners that show useful information like popularity and wallet support.

Opensea
Opensea.io is an online auction house that allows users to buy and sell their collectibles at a much more customizable price than other exchanges, and in some cases, is the only exchange available.

Cryptogaming’s discord
Discord is by far the best location to receive information. And crytpogaming’s discord has a master list of many games not mentioned here.

Blockchain gaming
Is another discord chat that is hoping to become another hub for cryptogaming.
