Oh, man... thank you!
This was definitely worth watching... great old times! I remember calculating in sleep the moves for a specific map...
The Necromancer was my preferred choice, and I had a personal goal to maximize the number of skeletons that I gathered in each map. Such a wonderful time!

Just the other day I finished playing Heroes 3, a L sized map with a friend from high-school. But I played the Wake of the Gods version. The gameplay is greatly improved there imo. Cheers!

HOMM2 was one of the first "real" PC games I ever got to play. Right after Civilization 2 - that was the first one for me. I spent so many days and nights of my preteen and teenage years playing this game, it will forever be part of my more pleasant memories of that time :D

Still have an old CD with the game from LEVEL magazine :D Great game!
