Villag3Craft - Minecraft SMP - Dragon Fight
This past week a few of us members got together to go to the End and defeat the Minecraft Dragon.
As you can imagine, the End is not a friendly place and it is easy to get yourself killed there.
On top of the Dragon, the End is filled with Enderman and they will kill you for just looking at them. It's also easy to fall into the void and lose all of your precious loot.
Fighting the Dragon puts you in danger of all these things.
While the Dragon is taking damage it turns red. You have to destroy crystals that recharge the Dragons health before you can kill it. If you are good, you can destroy them with your bow, otherwise you have to pillar up to get them.
Once all of the crystals are destroyed, you can defeat the Dragon, but it is still no easy feat.
It takes a lot of damage to kill the dragon especially since it breathes poisonous dragon breathe and deals a lot of damage to you if it gets any hits in.
I must have looked at an Enderman when fighting the dragon because one killed me.
And the dragon got me when I came back in to get my stuff. I should have put on my spare armour! I missed getting any shots of the dragons death because it killed me before my server mates killed it.

I’m always fascinated with your game Deb and how you put everything together. What happens now the Enderman got you?
I re-spawned and luckily only lost some experience points. I knew not to wear my good armour to that fight. :D
Despite how much I use to play MC I don’t think we ever went and killed the Ender Dragon. We were more into building massive town then anything else. I liked to just live underground and mine hehe.
Great to see you guys and gals are still progressing along.
This is only my 2nd time fighting it. I did it in my single player world and it took me, (what felt like forever), several deaths to kill it. I have it's head proudly displayed on my castle and its egg is the center piece on the castle dining table. :P
