Football Manager game

in #gaming7 years ago

Good day dear esteemed reader . I love playing games and I enjoy playing so much that I can actually be at it for hours, non-stop. Recently I have been spending more time on Football Manager 17 and at times I discuss in-game activities with friends like its so happening in real life. I have spent so much time on Football Manager games to the extent that I no longer enjoy taking control of big teams. The likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG to mention a few all come across as too big to handle for most club sides. The kick now comes from taking control of lesser clubs and then going against the competition. Trust me, at some points it all feels so fierce and unfair but that's just the beauty of the game.
Not only do you get to compete against the big boys on the field of play, you get to co. Pete against their money too. Imagine a situation where a relatively lesser club, trying to as shrewd as possible in spending identifies a transfer target well within their financial capabilities or just stretching it by a bit, still to not much hurt, then one of the big boys come to prise such player away at a whooping sum the lesser club could never, ever come up with. Its tough.
Sometimes you have them good squad players and you enjoy a fairly lengthy run of form. Your team racks up wins on the road and you are so excited until that moment comes, it just slips in unnoticed and your players who used to be high in spirits suddenly manage to average very few shots per game, sometimes it tends to mess with your head and you just rack it all you can in a bid to turn things around. It may even be that the players are now misfiring, throwing away chances that are just too good to be missed and it all looks so intentional.
Talk about injuries suffered by players as well. Time may come for your players to just keep getting injured day by day, you reduce training intensity but it all seems rigged. The I juries keep pouring in and your team gets to suffer for it.
There are a ton of challenges one could face playing this incredible game, I guess its why you get this so wonderful feeling when you are getting it right and everything is going well for you.
This is not a piece to discredit Football Manager games but one ro express my lobe and admiration for the game. Lest I go ungrateful, this is also showing some appreciation to all programmers, developers and in total, everyone that contributed in one way or the other to make this game available for us today.
I have played to win so many trophies and it is always worth it when all the struggles and hurdles comes to culminate into a trophy ke two at the end of the season.
I love this game so much.
