Yes or Meh? Review #2 [Captain Tsubasa Dream Team]
We are back at it again with another game review. Today I am very excited about this one. Captain Tsubasa was one of my childhood heroes and when I saw that from the first time in the Appstore I was hyped. Let's see if the game is really a "Dream". You get it? "Dream Team" and dream? Whatever let's start:
First Impressions
The game started with a really fancy animation of the main characters in the anime which I really liked and there was a tutorial match. I instantly remembered the old nintendo version of Captain Tsubasa game. After few minutes I realized that this game is kinda a polished version of the old game. Completely same game logic and mechanic with better UI interface and graphics. So everyone who played Captain Tsubasa Super Strikers 2 for SNES will enjoy the gameplay a lot.

The Goal
Goal of the game is simple, shoot goals and win the game. Improve your team and get stronger. This is the main goal of the game of course. At the end it is a football game so the goal of the game is pretty straight forward. However to become the stongest take time, effort and for the payers between us, money. You can get players from quests and events, however the most effective way is through dream balls. Deam balls is a premium currency which is only used to open packs of playes. It is kind of a lootbox system. With dream balls you have the chance to get rare players.

Replayability
This game is addictive as hell. The game has so much to offer. The campaiqn mode is very long which describes the anime for you. Each campaiqn level has three difficulty to master. This means technically you have to play the whole campain 3 times to be done with it completely. Also everytime you finish a level for the first time, you get a dream ball which makes the campain pretty attractive for the players. There is also a league mode in which you play against real teams from other players controlled by CPU and there is a real time online mode in which you can play against real people. All these modes are limited with regenerating currencies which force you to play the game later or next day because you have to wait till your energy is filled again. Pretty normal for mobile games.
Monetization
This game is in my opinion a really free to play game for mobile. You can watch Ads sometime to boost your players for the game or to boost their training. There is also a one time ad transfer per day which you can get a player by watching an ad. Advertisement is playing a big role for the game income. Although there is also in game purchases available which in my opinion are not really a must to be good at the game. You can get all stuff through playing the game alone so it is not a pay to win game at all!
Conclusion and Rating
Captain Tsubasa Dream Team is a fun and exciting game which bring back your old memories from the anime. The game is also very time consuming. Because you can do so much in the game. The monetization is fair and the game seems not be a pay to win at all. The music is also very entertaining and the sound effects are great. My only complain is the battery consumption and heavy graphics which can slow down a regular smartphone really fast.
I give this game a great 4 out of 5 Steemstars.
