The story revolves around the main character of the video game called Joel, he gets a commission from a friend, a mission that could cost him his freedom and life to transport a 14-year-old orphan girl named Ellie, safe and sound outside the quarantine zone until the contact that will be waiting for you at the designated point.

Ellie, being under 20, does not know how the world was before the outbreak of the virus, so she has been forced to mature radically.

His parents were probably slaughtered during the first years of the outbreak but two events cause both to be exiled from the Quarantine Zone.

But Ellie generates a serious problem with her classmates and Joel fails in the first part of the mission to get her out without anyone noticing.

Both are persecuted by the military and are forced to take a dangerous and different route to the established one, which was to arrive safely at their destination. Together they will have to open the way through the abandoned streets of the United States now claimed by mother nature to its destination.
