McDonald's Introducing A Minecraft-Themed Meal And Toys Based On The Movie

Ahead of the release of A Minecraft Movie next month, McDonald's has revealed new tie-in Happy Meals that'll come with one of several collectibles. Each one of these also comes with a matching card and a code that fans can redeem to unlock exclusive skins in the Minecraft's game marketplace, and the promotion will kick off on April 1. Every A Minecraft Movie Meal purchased through the McDonald's App will also give fans an in-game bonus at no additional cost.

McDonald's will also offer something a little spicier in the form of a limited-edition hot sauce inspired by the hell-like dimension of The Nether, which will be available as part of the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal or as an add-on purchase with other McDonald's meals. Inspired by both Minecraft and McDonald's, some of these toys have weird and hilarious descriptions.

The Big Mac Crystal was "mined from the sea of special sauce" and the Fry Helmet is enchanted headwear based on the best use of a potato. Here's a breakdown of each of the six collectibles that fans can gather:
