Fútbol Femenino en España (English/Español)

Hi guys,

I am Anabel, a girl from Málaga (Spain) who is passionate about sports, especially soccer. I'm a big fan of Real Madrid. I have played football for a long time in an amateur way and it has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. In addition to playing sports and enjoying the most beautiful game that exists for me, you create bonds of friendship and camaraderie. I would like it to be much more supportive of women's football in Spain, since it is not given the publicity nor the importance that it should. Spanish women's football has a very high level but compared to other countries is not well treated. However, in the last decade has advanced a lot. Verónica Boquete, is our best known player and has been selected by FIFA in 2014 as one of the ten candidates to receive the golden ball.

The number of players and teams grows day by day.

Still far from the big spotlights, perpetually overshadowed by male media coverage, women's football has been carving out its future for a decade. New talents, more exciting competitions and a progressive increase in federated women indicate that, at last, women's football is a reality with a projection of the future and not a hesitant project.

I think there is still a long way to go. I would like soon to be able to watch women's football matches with the stadiums full.

Soy Anabel, una chica de Málaga (España) a la que le apasiona el deporte, sobre todo el fútbol. Soy una gran fan del Real Madrid. He jugado mucho tiempo al fútbol de forma amateur y ha sido una de la experiencias más bonitas de mi vida. Me gustaría que se apoyara mucho más al fútbol femenino en España, ya que no se le da la difusión ni la importancia que debería. El fútbol femenino español tiene un nivel altísimo pero comparado con otros países no está bien tratado.No obstante, en la última década ha avanzado mucho. Verónica boquete, es nuestra jugadora más conocida y ha sido seleccionada por la FIFA en el año 2014 como una de la diez candidatas para recibir el balón de oro.

El número de jugadoras y equipos crece día a día.

Aún alejado de los grandes focos, ensombrecido de forma perpetua por la proyección mediática masculina, el fútbol femenino lleva una década labrándose su futuro. Nuevos talentos, competiciones más emocionantes y un progresivo aumento de mujeres federadas indican que, por fin, el fútbol femenino es una realidad con proyección de futuro y no un dubitativo proyecto.

Pienso que todavía queda un largo camino por recorrer. Me gustaría pronto poder ver partidos de fútbol femenino con los estadios llenos.
