EU banning saran wrap

in #funny8 months ago (edited)

EU is planning to ban use of saran wrap. Since the early days of modern-day birth control, saran wrap has been used as alternative to condoms due to some people being hyper-sensitive to materials used in regular condoms.

The ban has sparked urban legends that the cause is actually governments losing tax income due to people delaying making babies to late thirties or early forties.

In addition to banning saran wrap, EU is also banning composite materials containing plastic, including milk cartons. This comes after plastic bottle caps were integrated to bottles and milk cartons, because of people throwing the bottle caps to nature instead of recycling them properly.

Earlier EU replaced some objects mainly containing plastic, including single-use cutlery and Q-tips, with wooden or silicon ones.
