Stories of Lawyers and Old Farmers
A big city lawyer goes hunting for birds in a countryside. He shot and dropped a bird, but fell into a farmer's field surrounded by a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an old farmer approached and asked him what he was doing.
The lawyer replied, "I shot a bird and fell on this field, and now I will take it back."
The old farmer replied, "This is my field, and you can not enter here."
The angry lawyer said, "I'm one of the best lawyers in the World, and if you do not let me get that bird, I'll sue you and take everything you have."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you do not know how we settled the dispute in this village, we settled such a small dispute with the 'Three Kick Rules'."
The lawyer asked, "What's the Three Kick Rules?"
The farmer replied, "Since a dispute happened in my land, I had to do it first, I kicked you three times and then you kicked me three times and so on back and forth until one of them gave up."
The lawyer quickly considered the rules and decided that he could easily win the game. He agreed to obey the local custom.
The old farmer slowly approached and went straight to the lawyer. His first kick, his heavy boots slipped into the groin of the lawyer and made the lawyer unable to stand up!
The second kick right in the stomach and send the last meal the lawyer eats out of his mouth.
The lawyer was in a position to stand when the farmer's third kick pierced his face until his mouth came out fresh blood. Finally, with the remaining energy, the lawyer tried to get up.
Wiping his face with his sleeve, he said, "Okay, old man. Now it's my turn."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Well, I give up, you can get the bird."
