Developer Circle with Phases during a normal feature development or a bug fixing process 🙌

in #funny5 years ago

Hello Stemians, i have read some funny quotes today about programmers and funny stuff how they behave during their normal day of working.
And i thought why not create and explain which are the phases of our behaviour during a specific task we are working.

You are a developer and you get a bug fixing task and you start working on it

  1. First phase - Can i do it? You see the task and you ask yourself
  2. Second phase - Yeap, i can do it for sure. You are so excited and start working
  3. Third phase - Thinking, thinking, thinkg and still thinking. How will i do it?
  4. Fourth phase - Close to it, very close to the solution. Very enthusiast
  5. Fifth phase - Fixed, great. Love my work, i am excellent developer
  6. Sixth phase - Pfff, code not working, nope not the right way
  7. Seventh phase - Lets try another solution. A bit afraid, will this solution work indeed?
  8. Eighth phase - From bad to worse, another bug came from the solution
  9. Ninth phase - Angry, angry, angry with the work
  10. Tenth phase - From frustration to bug fixed, you love yourself again and you are a great a developer 🙌

Funny eh, 😝 as developer have you ever seen yourself in any of those phases. Share you experience.
