Sagie Gets a Bath

Our Dog Sagie Gets a Bath Then Dries Off With Enthusiasm

Sagie, is a rescue dog, we got her 4 years ago. She's a Havanese - a dog breed from Cuba. Her "real" name is Sage, but we call her Sagie. I am posting a video we took just after she got a bath. We use the best, organic dog shampoo we can find and it's very gentle - but she evidently does not like to be wet. Here's Sagie going through some considerable effort to dry off. First she tries to dry off on the leather couch. Doesn't get much traction from that, so she tries mommy's clean bed sheets instead!

Sorry for the video quality... but you get the idea. Dogs just seem to go hyper after a bath, and most are glad to finally get out of the tub. We all feel invigorated after a nice shower or bath right?

Sagie is a great dog, she hardly ever barks, and she's very friendly. Sagie is also a Canine Scholar. She graduated last year and is now an official Therapy Dog. Havanese are know as 'Velcro Dogs', because they are always wanting to stick to people like glue. Sagie is no exception - she always wants to be close - she's a real lap dog, but we don't mind at all.
