Share2Steem sponsorship program - Delegators' rewards

Few days ago, @algo.coder and @sebbbl released an ambitious program, with the crazy goal to bring loads of people on Steemit. How ? Thanks to social media. And thanks to Share2Steem.

Only launched 10 days ago (with 5 blank days due to HF 20), the Share2Steem application already counts 118 users and 467 posts made via the application. A great start considering we're only focused on development right now and not on marketing.

What is Share2Steem ?

Share2Steem is an application which allows users to post on Steemit straight from their favourite social networks' apps. Share2Steem is currently compatible with Instagram, Twitter and Youtube (more to come, we aim at covering all current mainstream social media outlets).
Actually in beta (v0.2), we are close to v1 release, which should occur in few days (subject to adjustments according to the difficulties encountered, but we will keep you posted along the way).

The principle is simple : the user posts a photo, a tweet or a video from his usual social app, and uses the hashtag #share2steem. Then the post is automatically published on Steemit, and starts making money.

Benefits for the user

The user will then be able to take profit from the power of the Steem blockchain without even having to repost on Steemit. But that's not all. The onboard curation trail, if enabled by the user, will allow him to earn upvotes easily for his #share2steem posts, in exchange of doing the same for the other users.

Finally, he can use the referral program and earn a fee on his referrals' earnings. Usually, Share2Steem takes a 10% fee on users' gains. In the case of a sponsored post, the fee is reduced to 6%, letting 4% to the referrer.

Benefits for the Steem blockchain

The calculation is simple. With only these 3 social medias, there are about 3 billion accounts that could benefit from the Steem rewards system. And we won't stop here, as many other media are targeted to be implemented in a near future.

Of course, not all of the 3 billion accounts will come to the blockchain, but just imagine : there are about 60k active accounts (highest estimates) on Steem right now. If we could only catch 0.001% of these 3 billion accounts, there would be 3 million more active accounts on Steemit. Imagine the pressure on the STEEM price that would follow...

And as it is easy to monetize a post, there's no reason these accounts would not be active. Moreover, we will encourage consistency as it will be a criteria for getting higher votes from the @share2steem account and the curation trail. You know what a massive arrival and a massive increase of transactions mean for us... The moon's not so far.

Why delegate ?

The first reason is simple and quite obvious : more SP means bigger rewards, which means more users. That will be the difference between failure and success for the #share2steem app.
And since HF20, the second reason is the ability for us to create accounts. This would allow newcomers to dive into the Steem blockchain with total ease.

Of course, delegators will take personal benefit of such an action. We will address 20% of our liquid gains (gains which are not given to us in SP) to delegators. That is equivalent to 12.5% to our 10% fee. So that means 1.25% of all rewards generated by the #share2steem users' posts will be for delegators. They will earn shares of this amount according to the SP rate they delegated. The more you delegate, the more you earn, that's fair and logical. A slight bonus will be granted depending on the "age" of the delegation, to thank the delegators that support us from the get-go.

But delegations will also be taken into account in the upvote strength calculation. If a delegator uses the app, he will get bonus points which will lead to higher votes on his posts.

But of course, the main reward is collective, as the success of this adventure means an increase of the STEEM price, which will benefit to everybody...
