Communication is one of the oldest systems that have remained until this day. From time immemorial, humans have always interacted with and sent messages across to one another using specific media of interactions. In the olden days, we had the use of distinct symbols that were peculiar to particular peoples. We then “grew up” and learnt the art of scribbling that help us to put down ideas on slates and the bare scroll. The process then went on to introduce letters into the human communication system. The Internet soon replaced that. Now, there are talks of facilitating machine learning, which is a technological advancement that can replace human communication in a short time.

The Phases of Human Communication and How the Function X Does it Better
All through the narration of the reinvention of the human communication system, it is clear that the constant factor therein was the need to migrate to the next method. The Internet, which currently holds the fort is about to be replaced by blockchain technology. That is so because of the centralized model, which arrogates more powers to centralized institutions, which social networks are the primary stakeholders.
Blockchain technology, on the other hand, is famous for redistributing powers and extending much of that to the end-users. Function X is a blockchain-based communication network that aims at empowering social network users to have more control in the system. That is tenable through the decentralized Internet structure it has in place.
So, without much of your time, let’s now look at the proposed system and how it would work better than the current Internet communication structure we have.

Decentralized Transmission Protocol
The Internet uses the HTTPS transmission protocol to give you access to contents shared on the World Wide Web (WWW). The primary problem in the structure is that it is a client-server based decision-making mechanism. That means that it can gain inordinate access into your data/personal information shared over the network.
On the other hand, the decentralized Internet formulated by Function X uses the Function X Transmission Protocol (FXTP). It is a decentralized transmission protocol that uses an end-to-end (encryption) transmission model. That implies that no party would gain insights into your data or information/contents shared and accessed via the medium.

IPFS – The Distributed Data Storage System
Contrary to the centralization of data that lies in the hands of centralized institutions, Function X chose to use the IFPS network that creates a distributed and decentralized model of data storage and transmission. It also allows end-users to run individual nodes that can only be assessed by everyone but would still be under the control of the owner. However, if some other Function X downloads contents shared by another user on the platform, then such a user would be able to store such content on his/her node.

DDocker
The Internet got more comfortable with the development of many mobile applications. Function X also factored that in with the delegation of DDocker as a computer program for creating, deploying, and running Decentralized Applications (dApps).

Final Thoughts
Blockchain technology has come to stay. The deployment to the communication via the decentralized Internet structure proposed by the Function X is one of the ways to bring it to more real-world adoptions.
