Visit Lake Havasu or Lake Havasu?

While traveling around California and Arizona we met some friends who asked us to meet them in Lake Havasu. They gave the coordinates and away we went. Images of waterfalls and amazing hikes rolled through my brain. But when we arrived... wah wah wah no waterfall was found.

We asked around and apparently this is a common mistake. There are two Lake Havasus in Arizona. So beware of which one you are wanting to visit.

Not all was lost though, we found out that the second most visited site in Arizona was located in this Lake Havasu. The actual, the original, the only... London Bridge! You know, the one you sang about as a child. Yup, in the middle of the Arizona desert stands the London Bridge.

Stop by if you are traveling through, but don't alot to much time for it!
