Team Malaysia Babes CNY Potluck 2018!!

I knew I had to get there first since I had volunteered the disposable ware. And even as I prepared the plates, cups, forks and spoons, serviettes, thrash bags, the phone kept going ping ping ping. And most of these were those who couldn't make it. A couple we had known as there were family engagements and work commitments. And then the rest .... oh well. I feel it can be a Malaysian thing. A commitment is not a commitment until you turn up. Because even the neighbourhood stray cat mating will take priority over the spoken word. There'll be a gazillion unexpected unavoidable situations that will sneak up and turn the whole world upside down. I have been guilty of this many times (please don't tell my kids) until I made a conscious effort to NOT Fong Fei Kei unless it is absolutely unavoidable and sometimes unexpected things really do happen.

Anyways, I turned up unsure of what to expect with the numbers kinda dwindling now. Was the Potluck going to be a success? Or should I have gone for the other CNY gathering that had lions and whales. Maybe, if this party was sad, I could crash the other party, weasel my way in, beg and grovel if I have to. AND TRUE ENOUGH!! THE PARTY WASN'T SUCCESSFUL!!!
We had all come with the intention to learn more about steemit and instead had way too much fun!!

As the crowd trickled in... yes, it turned out to be a crowd after all. Men and women with big smiles and open arms. Food was plenty, some of us even tau-pau'ed (doggy-bag) some home, drinks overflowing that we now have left overs for the next get together, laughter so loud, it could have drowned out the fireworks. In terms of a party, it hit its mark and every one enjoyed themselves.

But the highlight of the night, is in that video👆🏿. If you haven't watched it yet, check it out. And from what I hear, there is so much more in store for TeamMalaysia. From kids, to babes (if no one will call us that then....but then again, there are a couple of very hot babes in the group), to cartoonist to musicians. I may have stumbled upon steemit by accident, but looks like I'm "barking" up the right tree. Wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year.
