I am not sure about where you live, but here in California, I have seen a growing trend of planting pomegranate trees! Here is an example:
I am seeing more and more these days, and I am not sure what people are using all the fruit for. I know it is a “superfruit” so I guess it makes sense that it is becoming trendy, but I do not know how you would prepare it in a dish.
More to research and learn.
Have you seen more pomegranate trees planted where you live?

I've got 5 of 'em growing at my house. They are kinda a pain to eat, breaking it open and getting out all the little kernels, but they taste so good!!

Pomegranate fruit is sweet. This is my favorite fruit. If pomegranate turns red then you can also pluck it. you made california so beautiful
