How technology can help friendships?

We are used to blame technology for people being anti-social.
I look around me and I think that people are anti-social because people are not ok. There are no more true friendships because people are not honest anymore. I see girls gossiping about each other, men that are always in competition regarding money and women, girls that the only thing they have in common is the fact that their say to each other that is ok to date a guy for money. I used to know two girls that hated each other in high-school, but in their 20's got "BFF" (rolling eyes) because they both had the same target : get rich guys to spoil them and maybe they don't have to work a day in their life.

The fun thing for me to observe is that they still hated each other, but no one liked them so they were friends . The fact that one of them had a boyfriend with a restaurant and a pool, help a lot.

I have a few friends, we live in the same city but because we work, we don't have the time to hang all day, how we used to do. In order to keep our relation going, we made a Whatsapp Group and we talk all day, when we have a chance. We tell each other what plans we have for the day, what is happening in our lives, plan the next time we will meet. The advantage is that we communicate all 3 of us so we are linked and we all know the same things.

Another plus is that we don't waste time on the phone, small-talking.

So, it is not technology that is killing people relations, people are fake and ruin relationships.
