Bonjour, Hi to Citizens of the World who are on SteemitsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #french7 years ago (edited)

My name is Anne-Elisabeth (Anne to be shorter) and I'm a french woman, born in Paris decades ago . . . I'm definitly a X generation. 😉 Then I already known too lives: without and with internet. I'm creating digital strategy, I'm writing and coding. Most of the time, my state of mind is humour. I'm found of nature and culture (incidentally organic and vegan). I like windsurf (my spot on a photograph of mine, below). But my reason of life is poetry.

First of all, sorry if my english is approximative.

I'd like to thank Steemit's team for the launching of this platform in which I do believe (my slogan about it is on the picture):

For my first post on Steemit, I prefer writing about how I see this project rather than talking about my life (too long story).

Actually, I consider that this place (to be) is THE mega blog.

I mean that instead of searching an article among millions of thematic blogs, created and managed by each of us, we can have one main blog (here) where millions of people from anywhere can publish about thousands of topics (or categories, thanks to tags), creating a flow. It is just the opposite aim, like a reversible idea. And I like it. Because, in a way, it's just like the feeling to be "at home". (Hello E.T.)
More than that, your post can be rewarded as far as you get some votes!

First, they came perharps for the money, then they stay for the community benefit.

A flow of different articles, stories, thoughts, creations, shares, calls (whatever is the nature of the post), growing day after day, hour after hour. Rewarding or not by contributors. It is more fair than just a "like" you can see elsewhere on social networks.
It is a good approach to see immediatly your impact and your fame.

But then, the issue of the quality and of the usefulness of the content hangs in the balance. Actually, the notion of "interesting" is not necessary the same to everybody: one will approve a post because it gives him an information; another will vote just because the content of a post would have make him laugh. Etc.

Finally, it is totally subjective. Then, it is not because you're going to post a very long and well written article about a serious subject that may can change the world, with a vision for a better futur of our planet for instance, that your post will be considered as a high-quality contribution. As we know, the picture of a cat is more likely to touch the hearts. It is life. Fortunatly, we can appreciate both.✌️

That's the reason why I think that Steemit can even bring the feeling of humility. And that's a good thing because, after all, we are only human beings . . .

To finish, I'd like to say: long life to Steemit!

By the way, if some Francophiles are connected, bienvenue à vous pour échanger.

As I post this first text, I am conscious that I left my footprint on this succession of resistant and transparent layers called Blockchain.

Nice to meet you too Chantha. And thank you very much for your welcome and upvote. I upvoted your article "Sunrise at Angkor Wat" as your photographs are amazing!
Actually, it is a bit emotional for me, because my mummy was born in Phom Penh and grew up in Battambang. She always told me how she found cambodian people very nice and kind. As a child, she used to visit Kampot, Siem Reap, Kep (on summer), the Bokor, lake of Tonle Sap too and of course Angkor Vat... She keeps good memory of it.
If I got time, I would like to try to learn the language that I consider musical to my ears.
The best for you and your family. (I began to follow you back).
Anne

I read with great interest your post dear Anne and I would like to add that all tastes and colors exist on steenit but it is like on other social platforms there are trends and group reactions that very sickly make that many Of people comment and apvote impulsively and not necessarily for subjects of valor There is a sort of ola or tsunami for some posts and on the other hand other interestiing posts are ignored;...WHICH IS VERY FRUSTRATING.
Be welcome and good luck.

Welcome to steemit !! Enjoy this beautiful world! Followed. Follow me back 😘
