I used to think it was morning mist that fizzled the Las Vegas Strip from a far but after a couple of years I realized it was smog. When In Florida, we didn't have things like emission checks and smog test requirements. I guess Florida is different somehow. Mostly I think just lower in elevation. Turns out this stuff isnt just bad for the environment but it's bad from your lungs. Do we really pay attention to the state of the world? I mean, I try to but it's only when I'm reminded ded that I make a conscious effort into really grasping the concept of where this planet is headed. I always say, "I'll be dead before it gets bad" and I will be. It still doesn't mean it doesnt weigh heavy in my mind .

For the most part in my household we do the best we can. Reusable shopping bags, bamboo toothbrushes, paper bags for lunches, parchmentinstead of clear wrap and so on... but we're far from perfect. It's just really sad. Just stop and think for one moment. It takes plastic over 200 years to dissipate. That means that every piece of plastic that has ever been made is still somewhere on this earth and they are still making more. I dont understanding. It seems so simple to use other things. Hemp being a substance that can be used for clothing, to bags and even bricks for housing.

So when you get to think about things like politics, voting… does it matter? I really don't think so. You would think that one of them politicians by now would have started a campaign to plant more trees, fruit trees to help the homeless eat. They could have switch to using forms of energy years ago. Everyone keeps voting like it matters, everyone stays in this pay check to pay check trance and nothing ever really gets done for us.

I miss the morning mist in Cripple Creek, Colorado. When I went to @THEALLIANCE Blockparty, the beautiful misty morning's were just breath taking.

I find myself missing that experience all the time. It really is fun to go and meet other Steemians. So if any of you STEEMIANS ever get a chance to meet other STEEMIANS, do it! Not sure I'll be able to do anything like that for a while so I'm glad I did it while I could. Remember to live.
