Topic - Artichoke

"Today's topic on the 139th day will be Artichoke...hope i get the spelling right. Well, it's understandable to anyone who works as a waiter before or currently working as a waiter. It's a type of napkin that is formed into an artichoke which i believe is a type of flower. This is what comes out of my mind first thing when i saw this. Being a waiter and learning how to fold this napkin was fun...it was use to hold hot pots or bowls to avoid anyone who is handling it to get hurt by the hot stuff. I know that when you learn how to fold this...you will be asked to fold more and more specially when it is a big catering handling maybe 1000 people. When you done this...its like folding a napkin with closed eyes. Anyway, i believe time is up...not much i can talk about this topic...all i know is this napkin which is used for holding hot stuff....till the next topic!"

Unedited version...only spellcheck...no topic search before writing...typing whatever comes out of my head

Wow...i'm right...its a flower...lol

The globe artichoke (Cynara cardunculus var. scolymus)[1] is a variety of a species of thistle cultivated as a food.
The edible portion of the plant consists of the flower buds before the flowers come into bloom. The budding artichoke flower-head is a cluster of many budding small flowers (an inflorescence), together with many bracts, on an edible base. Once the buds bloom, the structure changes to a coarse, barely edible form. Another variety of the same species is the cardoon, a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean region. Both wild forms and cultivated varieties (cultivars) exist.

and i'm right again....it's a napkin

Also called the water lily or the artichoke, this is one of the best-known napkin folds and will be familiar to anyone who ever made a paper fortune teller as a child. Use it to present dinner napkins or to surround a roll, a party favor, or a flower.

Well, i did it again...finished my 3rd trial on the 139th day of 5 Minute #freewrite. Hope you do too...
