Can people be sad on purpose? Actually, no one wants to be, but sometimes sadness comes like rain suddenly—without asking for it, without a reason. We just sit quietly, as if we have done a lot without doing anything. Maybe sadness also has its own place, where it wants to come and sit for a while.

When we say sad, for some reason, birds come to mind. I don't know why, maybe because there is a kind of softness in birds, which touches our own hearts. Just as they fly, they also stop at some point—as if they too have a burden inside. One day I saw—two sparrows often came and sat by the window. Then after a few days, I saw only one come. And that too did not come for a few days. Then I thought, maybe he was sad too. Maybe he was lonely too.

Or a crow does not form a bond with another crow when it loses its mate. Even the cuckoo returns every spring to find its beloved partner. It doesn't find it, but it still comes, singing the same song. It seems that love is not only among humans, but perhaps in all beings. Only our language is different.

Of course, humans do not remain alone like birds. When we feel sad, lonely, we get involved in new relationships again. Some come, some go, some stay for a while. We try to fill the empty space, but every time we see that the previous space cannot be completely filled. Still, people do not stop, because people cannot be alone.

Relationships are actually very fragile things. If we do not take care of them, they do not last. If we never talk, distance is created, sometimes small anger and resentment grow. We think that time will fix everything, but time does not fix it, it only makes us get used to it.

Yet every time we feel sad, we think again - if we had taken a little more care, if we had understood a little earlier, then maybe we would not have had to go so far. Taking care of a relationship does not only mean love, it means understanding, listening, and being by their side.

Birds fly, but eventually they return to their homes. Because they know that returning is just as important as flying. We humans often forget that. We think that if we go away, everything will be easier, but it's not. The farther we go, the more we feel a pull.

Sometimes it seems that if humans were really birds, they would fly away and forget their sadness. But birds also sit quietly when they are alone, and so do humans. The only difference is that we say, "I'm sad," they don't.

In the end, it seems that no matter how complicated the relationship is, no matter how far apart it is, everything becomes a little easier with a little care. Because care means more than love—it means understanding, patience, and being by each other's side.

Sadness will come, there will be pride, but if we know how to take care of relationships, maybe everything will calm down a little. Just as birds return to their homes at the end of the day, we too will eventually return—to those who really have a place to return to.
