Genuine knowing, comprehension and research vs. confirmation bias

Sometimes, people don't discern what constitutes actual knowing, comprehension and research, and instead defer to "researching" only those things they think "confirms" their belief system or opinion, from the perspective that suits the maintenance of their current worldview or egoic image.

That is not research, that is confirmation bias.

Belief and opinion alone have no bearing on the quality, accuracy or veracity of information.

Freedom, spirit, consciousness, knowing, comprehension, imagination, will, intent, ingenuity, unbiased research, action, questioning everything and all of these more advanced things (aside from being more conscious expressions of ourselves as infinite freedom and consciousness) are through what we change both ourselves, the world and reality for the better.
