Have you ever met the president? Any president? Have you ever talked to the president on the phone? Interacted with the president on social media? Does the president know who you are? Does the president even know you exist?

If you’re like the overwhelming majority of us, the answer to all these questions is, most likely, a disappointing “no.” (hint: don’t be disappointed, and rest assured you have plenty of company) In fact, on the average day in the life of an American, there is no direct contact at all with any elected federal official. Come to think of it, can you even remember the last time you talked to an elected federal official?

Given how infrequent those interactions are, have you ever considered what you get for your money given how much of your earnings are promised to the federal government before you even receive your paycheck? Whether or not you want what they claim to offer, the truth is that far too much of the fruit of your labor is 1) sent to bureaucrats you will never see 2) to pay for things with precious little benefit to you and 3) over which you have almost no control.

What if you were disgusted with the choices for president in 2016? What if you wish you could have actually cast a vote for “None of the Above?” What if you think NO ONE should be president because no single person can truly represent 325 million unique people? What if you think anyone who wants to be president has to be at least a little arrogant, narcissistic, power hungry, and corrupt and should be automatically disqualified from contention? What if you would prefer to have more local, voluntary, and direct cooperation with members of your community? What if you recognize that every 4 years we are dragged into a national conversation about which megalomaniac will rule over all of us from DC? What if you think the free world doesn't need that type of leader?

What if the free world craves a leader who doesn't aspire to rule over us at all? What if the free world craves a leader who leads by example, a leader who leads by invitation to voluntary cooperation?

Maybe the free world craves a leader like Adam Kokesh.
