FRAMED: Floral Flash Technique Shoot by @playitforward

FRAMED: Floral Flash Technique Shoot by @playitforward
What is FRAMED?
Framed is an artistic and fashion photography series exploring creativity and collaborative artistry. Each shoot has a different concept and is approached with a different mindset, skillset, and tool set.
Concept
Taking one flash, and making different mood shots of a rose. What's special about this concept is that a man on the street gave me this rose. He was celebrating someone's wedding, and decided to hand me one of the roses that were in his massive bouquet. What a nice gesture. Given that he wasn't completely sober and was very generous, I'm happy about this concept turning so natural.
Setup
Setup was ONE light. I used a freezer bag that I had gotten from the grocery store. It was a single use one, so I cut it up and made a reflector. It just happened to be white on one side and silver bubble wrap on the other. I used the silver for ALL of these shots. I aimed the light at the rose, and the other direction is a reflector from the freezer bag to help bounce a little around it. Here are the results.

And a weird setup just for fun

Those pink folds send little thrills down the spine. So, so beautiful. And to only use one light and a freezer bag! This series just gets better and better.
