Fortnite | Comet To Destroy Tilted Towers? Change Coming To BR?

If you clicked on this and are still currently reading, I'm going to assume you know what Fortnite is (it is the most popular game after all) so I will not bore everyone with describing it. If you don't know what the game is then you are currently missing out.

What I do want to talk about is something that is catching some buzz recently. There are currently rumors going around regarding a strange phenomenon going on in the skies over Tilted Towers. Apparently there is a comet that has appeared in the sky and if you haven't noticed it looks like this.

 

If you noticed there is a white/blue light in the sky which is suspected to be the comet. To further push this conspiracy, people have also found the source image for the comet. It seems this has came out on April 1st and most assumed that it was part of an April Fool's joke. However, 3 days later the comet still appears to be coming full speed. 

Does Tilted Need To Exist?

In recent months there have been a lot of talk on how imbalanced Tilted Towers has seem to become. There can be a lot of loot to be found there, so almost everyone drops there first leaving the rest of the map an empty plane of existence. I have been the first to notice this more often than not. So the theory being, for Epic to address this they are sending a comet to destroy Tilted Towers in order to bring balance back to the ecosystem.

It Could Be Something Else...

I however have a different opinion. So all of the speculation has been around the comet hitting Tilted Towers to bring balance but I don't think that may be the case. If you look at the telescopes below that also has recently appeared around the same time of the comet, they are actually pointing in the opposite direction of Tilted.

They are actually pointing to the Moisty Mire. So I believe the comet is going to land some where close to the Moisty Mire in an attempt to bring another popular landing spot on the other side of the map. This may help spread people out so that they will be more likely to visit the other empty spots on the map.

Lastly, I think the timing is crazy that a lot of the rewards on the battle pass all have to do with Space and apocalyptic looking characters and I think it's possible this comet will hit at the close of Season 3.  Could this be the beginning of drastic change? What do you think about all of this? Do you have any other theories?
