Your pre market look at Forex- The EUR/USD- Dollar is higher as focus shifts back to tax cuts

The dollar is to open higher after the ABC news reports on Friday that Michael Flynn was instructed by Trump to contact Russia before the election, were in fact false. The report should have said, Flynn was instructed to contact Russia AFTER the election.

As a result, the focus has shifted from Flynn, the Republican's passing their tax reform package in the middle of the night on Friday (or early Saturday morning - I am not sure what time the vote was actually taken). It passed by 51-49 with Bob Corker being the only GOP dissenter.

The House and the Senate now get together to hash out each others differences.
