People who board the tropical regions of Central and South America aren't responsive to the ecological significance of forests therein region. In these parts of the globe, forests are frequently exploited for timber and agriculture but the forests are given importance because the source of livelihood for many rural people.

While the Brazilian Amazon has such a big amount of trees and is growing so fast because of the expansion dynamics of the region, it's also a vital player during this context. With the rise in human population and therefore the resultant expansion of agricultural fields, forests within the Amazon haven't been ready to grow. Moreover, the deforestation rate includes a direct impact on the ecology and forest growth within the region is hindered.

Loss of water from the soil is that the most typical explanation for forest collapse. When there's less rainfall, the soil is a smaller amount fertile and also the nutrients that sustain the forests are lost. The result's a drastic reduction within the number of trees and vegetation. The heavy influx of enormous stones and debris within the soil when there's an excessive rate of vegetation is another reason behind forest decay.

The deforestation process has its effect on the ecosystem yet as on the irrigation system. If the scale of the forest is reduced, the capacity of the water to experience is increased. This reduces the pressure on the aquifers resulting in the depletion of those resources.

Due to lack of proper forest management, the local culture is affected likewise. This plays a significant role in reducing the cultural richness of the agricultural communities. Once these resources are depleted, there's no further possibility of improving the ecological balance.

It is important to stress the very fact that these are multiple objectives and diverse causes of forest destruction. In short, these causes include lack of designing and implementation of forest and conservation measures; shortage of skilled personnel with adequate knowledge about a way to implement these measures; improper supervision of forest management; and failure to understand about the advantages which will be derived from forests.

In order to learn from forests, the watersheds must be preserved, water is extracted with the assistance of irrigation system, and also the region should be properly alerted about the potential to preserve the environment through forest preservation. Proper implementation of those measures would create environment-friendly conditions and yield positive results.

Having forest within the area doesn't mean that the watershed must be flooded or irrigated with any irrigation system. With the right awareness, forest management may be made beneficial to any or all.
