Mushrooms Still Flushing
Even with the frost and snow we had the last couple weeks the mushrooms haven't gone dormant. Today my wife and I picked 4 gallons of meadow mushrooms and 2 gallons of shaggy manes. I saw another great flush of meadow mushrooms, but didn't pick them as there were no weeds in the lawn. Didn't take any pictures as it was getting dark by the time we got home and I had to scramble to get the shaggy manes cleaned, sliced, blanched and into the dehydrator.
