RE: Test post - please don't upvote

in #footnote7 years ago

It doesn't seem to work, it does some strange jumps, but now where it should go. Actually I'm very interested in linking somewhere within a post itself (which is this basicly, but not just to the bottom), can you please share your code or your findings if you find this a way to work? Or where could I look into this? I guess regular html codes won't work on steemit. (with some a href and naming the different segments of the post...) Thank you!!

If you just want the small number linking to a URL - without the text at the bottom - sure, that's easy enough

Try this 1

[1](http://google.com)

Thank you for the quick answer!
I wasn't clear. I want to make a loooong post and be able to link within the post.
So on the top - there would be two options, and if you click on it, option1 will "scroll automaticly down a bit to the referred read", but if you click option2 it would scroll way more down, so you can read it from there. So that's why I said it is like what you are trying (but instead of numbers linking to the bottom, it will be numbers linking to different parts of a post/story).
But anyhow, I need to read upon it and immerse myself in the coding of the steemit site.
Meanwhile I hope you do find out how to make footnotes! (And also, I will let you know if I found a working way for that here on steem.)

Ah, I see now. Sorry, can't help you there.
