Liverpool defender Andy Robertson revealed as new Scotland captain
Scotland national team manager Alex McLeish announced squad changes ahead of upcoming fixtures against Belgium and Albania including the decision to make 24-year-old Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson a new captain. Tireless player rapidly earned stable place at his club and now he is honored at international level as well. Scottish FA unveiled Robertson appointment with a nice brief retrospective:
- Robertson is taking armband from veteran Scott Brown, who retired from national team back in February
- He also have 22 caps for national side
