Almeria captain Jorge Garcia Morcillo arrested for fixing the matches

Almeria central defender and captain Jorge Garcia Morcillo was arrested by the Spanish police during the operation on the investigation of match-fixing in Segunda.

Besides the 32-year-old Spaniard also 24 persons were arrested, according to Marca. Morcillo is suspected in organization of fixed match between Almeria and Gimnastic this January as well as some other fixtures.

  • He is first Spanish pro footballer who have been arrested for such claims

    As old as he is ,what caused this kind of behaviour, he and all the people involved should be brought to book so that another person or others will take corrections.
