Japan created new history for Asia After Beating Colombia
Japan's national team carved out the history in the World Cup after defeating Colombia by 2-1 in the first Group H match, at Mordovia Arena on Tuesday (19/06/2018)
First half, Japan first winning through Shinji Kagawa's penalty in the sixth minute, after A Sanchez get a red card cause handed the ball.
Colombia had scored a counterweight in the 39th minute through the action of Juan Quintero in the 39th minute.
Second half Japan again turned ahead in the 73rd minute through Yuya Osako's header. In the rest of the time, there is no additional goal and Japan sealed a 2-1 victory over Colombia.
This victory makes Japan as the first Asian country capable of winning over South American representatives in the World Cup.
Previously, in the last 17 games, no Asian country has been able to beat South American teams at the World Cup with three draws and 14 defeats.
This victory also makes Japan open up to pass to the next round.
In the next game, the Japanese national team will face Senegal in Ekaterinburg Arena on Sunday (6/24/2018).
After that, the Blue Samurai will serve the final match in the group H against Poland (28/06/2018).
