Premierleague stats - Tackle attempts per minute and interceptions per minute
Following on from my previous 2 posts introducing minutes in position(MIP)* for attacking analysis i now want to introduce minutes out of position(MOP) for defensive analysis. *(https://steemit.com/football/@statstheway/first-post-minutes-in-possession-and-xpected-shots-per-game-intro)
Again, i just don't feel content looking at the basic stat of how many tackles a team completed without actually know how efficient does tackles were based off the amount of time they didn't have the ball.
The first image goes to show why man city are doing so well, combined with their offensive stats they are just quality in and out of possession.
The second image shows a nice reason why i like analyzing like this on the surface the stats you can find will show a table where Southampton have more interceptions than city.
