Coutinho Gone, What next for LFC?

in #football7 years ago

The news broke earlier today about the move for the in-form LiverpoolFC playmaker, Philippe Coutinho, to the Spanish giants, BarcelonaFC, after months of frustration by the LiverpoolFC fans in the way the transfer was dealt with by Barça, even Nike had claimed they already had a jersey number for sale prior to official transfer for the playmaker, with fans fuming all over social media.

Being a LiverpoolFC fan myself, i would not say I am happy with the deal, but glad the speculations are all over, even if the deal is still not complete, until medicals and personal terms have been agreed on.

The question now is, with £140+ at our disposal, what is the way foward, considering the fact that LFC are still in the Champions League and still in contention for a top 4 finish.

Do LFC bring in a like for like replacement in the winter transfer, or should Jurgen Klopp make due with the talent in his squad till the end of the season.

With potential replacement linked, I would like to get an opinion on who you think would be an idle replacement, you don't have to be a LFC supporter, just one who understands the game. Let me know in the comments below.

Due to reports the following players have been linked as a replacement for Phil.

  1. Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City FC)
  2. Dani Ceballos (Real Madrid FC)
  3. Manuel Lanzini (West Ham Utd)

The three above mentioned are the most popularly linked, and i would like to get opinions as to who might be idle, it doesn't even have to been the above mentioned.
