Fudge of Jaffa Nutella
You'll swoon over this easy Nutella choc-orange fudge.
- INGREDIENTS
180g milk chocolate, chopped
60g butter, chopped
395g can sweetened condensed milk
225g (3/4 cup) Nutella
1 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
1/4 teaspoon sea salt flakes
340g pkt Allen’s Jaffas
60g dark chocolate, melted
- METHOD
- Step 1
Line a 20 cm square cake pan (basic measurement) with plastic wrap. Place the milk in a large, heat-resistant bowl over a pan of simmering water (make sure the bowl does not touch the water). Cook, stirring occasionally, until melted and combined. Stir in condensed milk, Nutella, orange peel and salt.
-2nd step
Place one-third of the Jaffas in a quick-release plastic bag. Seal and then use a rolling pin to lightly pat the Jaffas to crush them a bit. Stir in the broken Jaffas in the Nutella mixture. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press the remaining Jaffas on top.
- Step 3
Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until the preparation is firm. Cut into 24 pieces. Place on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with melted dark chocolate and return to the refrigerator to cool for 15 minutes or until all is done.
