En la actualidad en Venezuela, los embutidos son los que tienen el precio más alto en comparación con la carne.
Anteriormente la mayoría consumía mas embutidos que carne. Afortunadamente los precios de esta comida poco saludable ya no es apta para el bolsillo, es la única ventaja que observo ante este desastre que sufre la economía venezolana.
Era muy triste saber como en muchos hogares la comida más frecuente de los niños, era arroz con salchicha y salsa de tomate. En la actualidad estas compras son casi imposibles y se puede optar por otras más saludables.

It was very sad to know how in many homes the most frequent food for children was rice with sausage and tomato sauce. Currently these purchases are almost impossible and you can choose other healthier. In Venezuela it is cheaper to buy beef or chicken, than to buy sausages. The sausages are preserved with nitrites that are harmful to health.
