Filipino Culture - "Taboan Market"
Hello Steemians :)
I would like to introduce our one of the Filipino Culture called "Taboan Market", wherein Filipinos are able to sell various products like agricultural fruits and vegetables. It happens during Wednesday and Sunday, and it is near in our Office. It is nice to see people buying organic goods, fresh from rural areas.
Together with my officemates, we bought banana-que as our snacks during break time in the afternoon.
Banana-cue is one of the Filipino foods that can be seen along the street. And you can buy it at the price of ₱5.00 each stick. You can eat it along the way and it is more fun if you are with your friends, families, and even with your special someone.
Here are the Guidelines how to cook Banana-cue:
- Preheat oil in frying pan.
- Peel bananas and add them into hot oil.
- Add brown sugar. Make sure the sugar sticks to the banana by mixing them constantly.
- When cooked, take them one by one and let the oil drip.
- Serve on bar-b-q sticks with about 1-2 bananas per stick. Enjoy eating!
Actually I eaten that kind of food delicacy of being a FILIPINO your not a Pinoy if you don't eat this food..HMMMMMM "YUMMY...YUMMMY..." :-)
