Mila & Bacon Omelette
Ingredients :
For Filling
3 bacon rashers
1/4 Spanish onion
1/4 red capsicum
1 scoop Mila Chia Seeds
coriander, to garnish
Omelette
6 eggs
Method
Omelette Step 1
1.Crack 6 eggs into the TM bowl and mix on Speed 4/30 secs
2.Wet a piece of baking paper and scrunch well to line top tray of Varoma
3.Pour egg mixture into prepared top tray of Varoma, cover with lid and set aside.
4.Clean and dry TM bowl.
Filling
5.Chop bacon, onion and capsicum in TM bowl on Speed 5/10 secs.
6.Cook mixture in TM bowl 100 degrees counter-clockwise operationSpeed 1/5 mins
7.Pour into bowl and mix Gentle stir setting 1 scoop Mila or other chia seeds.
8.Cover mixture and set aside.
9.Clean and dry TM bowl.
Omelette part 2
Fill TM bowl with 600ml water, place Varoma with egg mixture and cook Varoma Speed 1/10 mins. If not fully cooked, set Varoma Speed 1 for a few more minutes until set. Omelette should be firm to touch.
Putting it together
remove Varoma tray and lid, place bacon mixture on half the omelette, sprinkle fresh coriander over mixture and fold the omelette in half to cover. Serve immediately.
